Calendar WatchCalendar Watch

This Calendar Watch symbol is to inform our community of a possible calendar change for the 2010-2011 academic year, from year round to nine month. Calendar Watch is CCSD's early notification symbol that has been designed to inform elementary school parents and communities as to the calendar (9 month or 12 month) each elementary school may be operating on for the coming school year. Parents are encouraged to contact their elementary schools with questions regarding the symbol being displayed.

Final calendar decisions for the 2010 - 2011 school year will be made by April 1, 2010. Parents and guardians of schools converting from 9 to 12 month or from 12 to 9 month calendars will be notified by school principals.  more information

Box Tops For EducationBox Top Shop

Like last year, Beatty Elementary is collecting Box Tops For Education. New this year is how they are being turned in. Every Friday before school, a Box Top Shop will be set up on the playground for you to trade Box Tops for prizes. All you need to do is tape your Box Tops to a sheet of paper (ten to a sheet) and bring them to school on Friday!

Where can I get Box Tops?
Box Tops can be found on hundreds of products from brands like General Mills, Ziploc, Pillsbury, Kleenex, Betty Crocker, and Hefty. A complete list is available at BoxTops4Education.com.

Once I get Box Tops, what do I do with them?
Get your Box Tops ready to use at the Box Top Shop by cutting them out along the dotted line and taping them 10 to a sheet. You can cut a piece of standard size paper (8 1/2" x 11") into 1/4 sheets and tape your Box Tops to that.
