Report Cards
The Clark County School District Elementary Report Card was developed to report student
progress toward meeting the Nevada Content Standards. Nevada Content Standards outline essential student learning goals for each grade level and core course. These standards are used by classroom
teachers for planning and delivering instruction as well as monitoring student
learning and progress. Benchmarks, which are based on the Nevada Content Standards, break up the learning into
twelve-week periods known as trimesters. The Clark County School District Elementary Report Card
will be issued to parents three times a year at the end of each trimester.
Several documents have been created by the Clark County School District to help parents understand our Elementary Report Card:
Grading Scale
A- 90-100% mastery of grade level benchmark
B- 80-89% mastery of grade level benchmark
C- 70-79% mastery of grade level benchmark
D- 60-69% mastery of grade level benchmark
F- Below 60% mastery of grade level benchmark
W- Working on standards below grade level
